In addition to being trained to copyedit and proofread in-house at the University of Oklahoma Press, I took courses in professional editing and editorial principles and practices as part of my master’s in publishing degree at Pace University, New York.

I’m a member of ACES: The Society for Editing and the Editorial Freelancers Association and take editing courses and trainings each year through both organizations.

I’ve worked on full-length books, journal articles, and essays in trade and academic nonfiction in a range of humanities fields—from environmental history to gender and sexuality studies—as well as memoirs, story collections, manga, novels, and novellas.
